It all started with a broken-down building on the corner of Martin and University in the Ball State University Village. It was there, Scott Wise, Owner and CEO of Scotty's Brewhouse, converted a well know Ball State University pub into an upscale bar and restaurant with a focus on creating a warm industrial atmosphere, delivering an exceptional customer experience and serving-world class American comfort food.
Scotty's Brewhouse soon expanded it's footprint into other central Indiana college towns, including Lafayette and Bloomington. The focus on high-quality food, craft beer and extraordinary service effectively bridged the gap between the quality expectations of alumni and exiting, sports-minded atmosphere that captured the attention of students. Many graduates of "Scotty's college cities" (Bloomington/IU, Muncie/BSU and West Lafayette/PU) move after college. Some go out West, some to Chicago, some down South; but, a large majority of graduating seniors head to Indianapolis. Well, so did Scotty!
In 2006, after a year of researching the perfect location, Scotty's Brewhouse open a location on 96th street in Indianapolis. Many Indianapolis residents were already familiar with the Brewhouse concept--parents of Indiana college students may have dined at a Brewhouse during a weekend visit while others just stopped by as they traveled to Lake Monroe or on their way up to Chicago.
Scotty's has great exposure on the corner of 96th and Delegate's Row, nestled in demographics that have made the restaurants a success in each college town: the younger, recently out-of-school that live on 82nd and in Broadripple and the married-with-kids clientele that live in Fishers, Noblesville and Carmel, just to the North of 96th.
Scotty's Indianapolis North remains true to the concept and humble beginnings; but, there are a few added twists. Scotty's Brewhouse Indianapolis North was the first restaurant in the regional Brewhouse chain to offer a full bar, including liquor. Scotty's Indianapolis North location was also the first Brewhouse offering accommodations for secluded private parties and events. A flat screen TV at EVERY booth and over 16 more plasma TVs hang throughout the restaurant so guests are sure to never miss a play.
Scotty calls this location, Fusion Atmosphere! This is the blending of two unlike items that actually work well together and complement each other. So, to try and describe this type of atmosphere becomes very difficult. A sports bar? Kind of. A trendy club? Kind of. A casual burger joint? Kind of. A place to kick back on the patio, have an ice cold beverage, eat a great meal and be taken care of by some of the best servers in the industry? Dead on.
Our niche in this restaurant segment is 2 fold: brand identity built over 19 years of being in business in college towns and major metropolitan cities in Indiana. This has created a loyal customer that begins as college age celebrations that leads towards memories of yesteryear when those college students visit again when they are now 30, married, with 2 kids living in Indianapolis. The 2nd niche we have exploited is selling our own beer we make at our brewery. This gives us the edge on pricing, quality of product, self-distribution, featuring as "weekly specials" and allowing us to sell carryout growlers of beer all over the state, due to our common ownership of the brewery and the restaurant. This is very unique and not done at any other restaurant in the state, without a brewery on property.
Local-sourcing of products, made-from-scratch daily sauces, fresh, unique, staying on trend, brand recognition, quality, great service, fun, friendly, lively and great for all demographics... this is why Scotty's Brewhouse has been successful for 19 years. Join us by investing today!

The past eight years have been in the private sector working with start up's to long standing businesses addressing financial accounting and finance and operations risk transformations. Joining Scotty's was an easy choice, as she was an early believer from the flagship restaurant of Scotty’s Brewhouse in her hometown of Muncie. She has excellent communication skills and is a big picture thinker dedicated to managing strategic, financial, operational, and technological risks to maximize an organization's value. She is married to her partner Ann of 28 years and lives on small fishing lake in Blackford County with three dachshunds (Maggie Mae, Josie and Pepper).

Scott Wise
Scott Wise is the President & CEO of a Pots & Pans Production, the parent management company for Scotty’s Brewhouse and Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company. Scotty (as he was dubbed by his late grandfather) is a family man, married to wife, Amy, for 15 years. Their family includes 4 children; Slater (7), twins, Lincoln and Vaughn (5), and baby Ivy (2). A avid exercise enthusiast, Scott also enjoys spending time with immediate and extended family, attending sporting events, travel, reading and always striving to better himself.
Wise’s restaurants represent the physical embodiment of his personality and feature upscale, industrial but warm atmosphere, extraordinary customer service, an array of draft and bottled beer and world-class, homemade American comfort food with a twist. The focus on high-quality food, craft beer, exceptional service, and the exciting sports-minded yet family-friendly atmosphere bridges the gap between generations and blurs typical demographic lines. While each location differs slightly, with their vibrant atmosphere, multiple televisions that can be seen from each seat in the dining room or bar and the fact that they are the perfect place to unwind after a long day, catch tonight’s big game or enjoy the company of friends and family, there is no mistaking that all belong to Scotty’s family of restaurants.
“I will act in a way that makes my _________ proud” begins a vision statement unlike any other, a comprehensive list of behaviors and actions that Scotty’s company fanatically embraces and strives to live up to every day. All team members receive a vision statement card on their first day of employment and are encouraged to think about whom, in their own lives, they will make proud and then write that person’s name in the blank. For Scotty, that person is his mom.
In keeping with that vision statement, Scotty is well known as a community philanthropist, consistently committing his time and effort along with monetary and food donations to causes in every city in which his restaurants reside. He is a firm believer in reaching back and offering a hand whenever and wherever one is needed. Scotty knows that in life, just as in his restaurants, it takes everyone working together to be successful.

We are finalizing all the investments (we had a flurry of activity the last day with almost 20 new investors submitting interest - sorry, no pun intended on the 8" of snow flurries we received as well...)
All investors have until March 15th to get their funds into our escrow account to be validated, if you miss this date, your investment will be cancelled.
After we have reconciled the final investors, we will be emailing you directly with the next step info: when will payback begin?, when will we meet up to see 96th st. remodel plans?, when will I receive my perks/discounts for dining?, etc.
Thank you, again, for all your support and investments into our future growth. Be safe today on the icy roads. I'll be back in touch with everyone after March 15. Speaking of, join us for live music for St. Patrick's Day on March 17th at all locations. And, great drink specials for the start of the NCAA Tournament beginning March 19th... we love March at Scotty's and Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co...
